If you are talking about a group of guys going to Myrtle Beach for a golf get away, I think the majority of them are looking for: Good food, good strip clubs, lots of birdies, maybe a place to fish one day, escort services, good bars within walking distance of the hotel, strippers, birdies, food, beer, strippers, birdies, food, beer, etc. etc.
I’m heading to Jamaica in August…so I’m looking forward to time on the beach as well! When I booked my trip with Spirit Vacations, they had a page on their site that listed good nightlife recommendations…so I’m thinking we’ll hit the beach during the day and the clubs at night!
We r going to Santa Monica, Redondo & Manhattan beach. I’m gonna cook a grand feast at our home when all friends ‘d gather. I live in Los Angeles.
there are tons of things to do. if you want to get closer to the nature and go for a “geography” tour, Grand Canyon and Yosemite national park are a good choice. Theme parks in LA such as universal studio, disneyland and magic mountain are good places to visit as well. LA Vegas for casinos, shows and buffets are good all year round. For beaches, personally i love the one at Santa Monica in LA. There are some many activites for you to do over there – swimming, surfing, volleyball, biking and more. That would have to be our honeymoon. We went to Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora. We stayed at the Intercontinental on all 3 islands. Everything was SO amazing. The islands were beautiful, the water was insane, the people were super nice, the weather was perfect… it was truly paradise. Some days we went out and explored, and other days we just hung out at the resort, snorkeling, sunbathing, etc. I would go back tomorrow if I could. I don’t think I’d do anything differently.
Barbados. The water was warm. It was so clear you could see your feet. I just stayed in the water and ever wanted to get out.
My favorite place is the Outer Banks of North Carolina. There are a lot of historic things to see. If you like to have lots of do this is a great place. Hang Gliding, Kite Boarding, Fishing, Kayaking, Wild Life Photograph, Wreck Diving. These are just a few of the things to do. I went to one of the beaches by the Cayman Islands. It was the best beach I’d ever been to, mainly because the water was warm, crystal-clear, and there was lots of marine life to see with a snorkel. I would go back there in a heart-beat. The only thing I would do differently is stay there longer because I was only there for a limited amount of time (cruise ship destination). Malta is an island in the middle of the Mediterranean. I think the ocean is a bit further away than 4 hours. Check into Sandusky, OH. May be your best bet for things to do and somewhat of a beach. When you’re ready for the real beach experience, come on down to NC!
Are there beaches within 4 hours of Detroit? I was thinking that the ocean was much further than that.
